Ich habe in die Scheibenhalter zwei 6mm Gewinde geschnitten und darauf eine schwarz lackierte Alu Stange geschraubt. Die Löcher für die Inbusschrauben sind versenkt. Das Garmin GPSMAP liegt super im Sichtbereich des Fahrers.
Update: Nach meiner Balkantour mit vielen schlechten Strassen und Schotter/Geländestrecken hält der Halter noch immer trotz des relativ schweren GPSMAP 276 CX. Mein Urteil, sehr empfehlenswerter Umbau, u.a. auch weil die Scheibenverstellung unbeeinflusst bleibt.
